app development company, I served as a Motion Graphics Intern within the Effect Studio team for the video editing app VITA. In this role, I was accountable for conducting trend research on short-form content and creating video templates and effects for the app.On a weekly basis, I collaborated with the marketing and production teams to analyze popular short-form content in 4 targeting countries: USA, India, Japan, and Korea, ultimately generating a minimum of three template ideas per week. My focus was primarily on developing humorous templates that targeted Korean users by incorporating local internet memes. The production of video templates necessitated various types of video and photo shoots, which led to my involvement in art direction for the shoots. Additionally, I published the final templates on the app server and conducted examinations to ensure compatibility on both IOS and Android platforms. That's when I decided to question the term "thesis" itself and ask why not make a thesis about thesis?Hence, I created &lt;The Thesis Kit&gt; to offer a fun and satirical approach to the thesis process, encouraging students to approach their work with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of purpose. 커뮤니케이션 디자인 전공 4학년을 시작하며, 졸업을 앞둔 마지막 학년이라는 사실에서 오는 압박감과 스트레스, 그리고 불확실함을 크게 느꼈습니다. 졸업 작품 프로젝트에 대해 많은 고민을 안고 있었고, 반드시 특별한 결과물을 만들어야 할 것 같다는 부담감 속에서 어디서부터 시작해야 할지 알 수 없었습니다. 동시에 취업 준비와 졸업 이후의 삶에 대한 고민도 함께 안고 있었습니다. 이러한 문제로 어려움을 겪는 과정에서, 주변의 많은 동기들 또한 비슷한 감정을 느끼고 있다는 사실을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 이에 ‘졸업 작품’이라는 개념 자체에 질문을 던지게 되었고, ‘졸작에 대한 졸작을 만들어보면 어떨까?’라는 발상으로 프로젝트를 발전시키게 되었습니다. 그 결과, 학생들이 보다 새로운 시각과 목적 의식을 가지고 논문 과정에 임할 수 있도록 돕는 유머러스하고 풍자적인 접근 방식의 프로젝트인 &lt;The Thesis Kit&gt;를 제작하게 되었습니다. I chose the school mascot, Gnarls, as a representative of us and used the black and Parsons red color palette. The kit features hand-drawn illustrations and messy handwriting that juxtapose with clean bold typeface to reflect the personal voice and thoughts on the thesis process, mirroring the anxiety and stress of senior students. 학교의 마스코트인 Gnarls를 우리를 대표하는 상징적 캐릭터로 선정하고, 블랙과 Parsons 레드 컬러 팔레트를 적용하였습니다. 키트 전반에는 손으로 그린 일러스트레이션과 거친 손글씨를 활용하고, 이를 정제된 볼드 타이포그래피와 대비시켜 논문 과정에서의 개인적인 목소리와 생각을 표현하고자 하였습니다. as to-do list sticky notes to help seniors plan their day-to-day schedules and avoid procrastination. &lt;The Thesis Kit&gt; also includes a tote bag with a screen-printed illustration that reflects the humor and sympathy I always try to incorporate into my designs. 본 키트는 졸업을 앞둔 학생들이 체계적으로 일정을 관리할 수 있도록 돕는 실용적인 아이템과, 보다 긍정적인 마음가짐으로 작업에 임할 수 있도록 돕는 휴식용 아이템들로 구성되어 있습니다. 논문 여정의 실제 타임라인을 반영한 개인적인 주석이
